Benefits of Drinking Water

Hello Readers and My Dear Patients,


We discussed about the common causes for the obesity in my previous blog sometime back.

Today i just want to give you a very simple tip told in ayurvedic texts for controlling the over weight.

One of the major ayurveda text ‘Ashtangahrudayam’ says,take 300 – 500 ml water just before every meal,who all want to reduce your body weight.

While you taking the water before the meal,it will dilute the Digestive enzymes and acid secretions which help to control the digestion hence resulting the control of appetite,digestion and absorption.

 It will make marked changes,you try it out for next 90 days and see the difference.

One more thing after drinking the water your stomach will be full so you cant eat much. 

Normally you have to take 8 glasses (2ltrs) water minimum,you can increase to 3 or 4 liters over the day.

 It will help to control the wrinkling of the skin when you reduce your body mass.

Proper water intake will help to keep up the skin tone also.

It will help the proper functioning of your urinary system,reduce the chances for Urinary Tract Infections,formation of urinary stones,help to drain out the waste elements from the body through urine and sweat.

 Cleanse the digestive system and cures the constipation. 

And also relieve the difficulties to pass the stools in Piles patients.

Say 'No' to Pickles in your daily menu. Why?

Hello Readers and My Dear Patients,

Pickle is a common item for a good Meal. It is quiet common especially in south Indian Lunch menu.
The major ingredients are Sesame oil,Red Chilly,Salt,Mango or Lemon slices etc.

 It is essential because it adds the taste of the meal,enhance the production of digestive enzymes,so it will promote good appetite.


 And it induces the taste buds too. So we will have a nicely enjoyable meal with pickle.

But in certain diseased condition it is not good; Acidity,stomach ulcers,Belching,Chest burn,Skin diseases,Arthritis and Obesity.

In Acidity and Ulcer condition when take pickle it will enhance the production of digestive enzymes and acids hence it will aggravates the illness.

In case of Skin diseases; according to ayurveda skin diseases occurs due to the vitiation of the blood. The pungent,salty and sour tastes will aggravates the vitiation of the blood and it is not good for the skin diseases.

In the Arthritis cases also the blood (Raktha Dhathu) is vitiating so we should avoid Pickle.

In Obesity condition; as the pickle enhance the gastric juice secretion and promotes good appetite,we will tend to eat more and more which leads to the weight gaining again.

So in the above mentioned conditions it is better to avoid the Pickles in your daily menu.

Weight Reduction; Golden Rules

Golden Rules for Weight Reduction

AVOID:

1.Sweets

2.Day time Sleep

3.Oily deep fried items

4.Diary products

5.Non – Vegetarian food stuff

6.Rice and Rice products

7.Spicy food

8.Eating frequently

9.Sitting Continuously

10.Having Rich in Calorie food stuff.

PREFER:

1.Drink plenty of water

2.Take more vegetables

3.Take more fruits

4.Walk minimum 4 Kms daily

5.Take more fiber rich food stuff

6.Take stomach full food stuff with low calorie value

7.Sleep only 6 hours in 24 hrs time

8.Take timely food

9.Take 500 ml water just before having food.

10.Wake up early in the morning.

Obesity - Common Causes

Hello Readers and My Dear Patients,

Today we discuss about the most common problem the modern world facing these days which is the Over weight.

 There are number of advertisements and clinics around which offers various weight reduction programs.


 Everything based on a previous data or with a scientific background.


 Everything got its own benefits,and the result varies person to person or condition to condition.


Here we look into certain common factors involving in the Obesity problem.

The major reasons may be the following,

1.Over eating,frequent eating,untimely food.

2.Taking Rich food which is of good calorie value.

3.Junk food,which having artificial colors,preservatives etc and alcohol too.

4.Lack of exercises,very restricted routine movements only.

5.Side effect of medication.

6.Hereditary factors.

7.Easy going attitudes.

8.Gynecological disorders,hormonal changes.

9.Excessive sleep

10.Craving for meat,fish,diary products and sweets.

These are the common issues which leads to gaining weight excessively.
