Hello Readers and My Dear Patients,
The weather in June to December is very hectic for the Asthma and Allergy Patients usually.
Here are some helpful Dos and Don'ts for them.
These above said conditions will aggravates with cold,so you should try to avoid the cold atmosphere the maximum.
Get protected from cold with woolen blankets,over coats and such dress materials with wool.
Don't travel outside in the early morning and late evenings.
Don't travel in the vehicles without cover ( bikes or without wind shields).
Avoid cold shower,no swimming,cold drinks,frozen food,deserts,anything from fridge not good for them.
Head bath can be reduced - once or twice in seven days is enough.
Warmed and cooled water should be preferred for drinking and for bathing.
Your Ayurveda physician can fix a suitable head oil which is to be applied before head bath.
The oil also should be warmed and cooled before the application.
The Drinking water should be boiled and cooled,preferably you can boil the water with cumin seeds and dry ginger (5 gm each for 2 ltr water)
The food should be very light, well cooked and easily digestible as these people will have a sluggish digestion in general.
No raw salads and uncooked food stuff.
Anything oily - deep fried items not good for them,curd, ghee,butter,cheese such greasy items also kept aside.
Food should served warm and fresh,Soup based especially for dinner preferred.
They can have the spices like pepper,cardamom,cumin,ginger etc. on moderation.
Brisk walking and meditation (yoga- pranayama) advisable.
