Hello Readers,
The Seasonal Changes affecting our body, we are entering into a cold weather after the really hot summer period during the March - April Months.
In Ayurveda Texts it is mentioned as Vasantha Rithu (March 15th to May 15th) which is the hot Summer.
And the period from May 15th to July 15th is known as Greeshma Rithu.
During the Greeshma Rithu, it rains just after the hot summer.
At this stage our body becomes weaker because our body is facing the severe weather change from really hot summer to cold weather.
Here is an example, when we pour some water or cooking oil into a heated vessel it makes some noise.
Same thing is happening in our body also.
When the rainy season begins the body reacts just like the above example.
So actually we feel cold weather outside due to the Heavy Rain but inside our body it turns really hot during the first half of the Greeshma Rithu just like how the hot vessel reacts when pouring water into it.
Hence our body started to react, becoming weaker and tapering the Immunity levels too.
So we prone to many kinds of illnesses according to our body constitution.
We may feel it during the second half of the Greeshma Rithu that is June 15th to July15th.
It is mainly going to affect the Vatha type (wind dominant people) and Pitha type (fire dominant people) body constitutions.
Here are the Examples,
In piles patients, when the chillness elevates outside due to the Rain, Our inner body turns hot. just remember the example I had given above.
And in this situation if the piles patients happened to be taken Spicy food stuff, Chicken, eggs etc. which are of hot potency and elevates the Fire element or Pitha Dosha. Hence resulting the Bleeding piles, constipation etc.
Persons with Nasal polyps also may get chance to present symptoms like allergic sneezing, Nasal Congestion etc. due to the above said reasons.
Various types of skin ailments also may get aggravated in this season due to the elevated pitha dosha which reflects in the blood & skin (raktha dooshyam).
And it is really troubling the Raktha Vatha patients too, because in rakthavatha patients vatha dosha, pitha dosha and raktha dhathu are aggravated and creates this disease.
Chances for getting Excessive menstrual bleeding and Acidity also during this weather.
