Nowadays the most discussed topic is
how to
improve the Immunity.
Running nose, sneezing, chillness of
body, poor
appetite, tiredness, aches and pains in the body are
the signs of
poor Immunity in general.
According to Ayurveda the above said
symptoms
occurs in the condition called “Peenasam”.
(We
can correlate this condition with Rhinitis).
In the ‘Peenasam’ condition the patient will have
the ‘Agnimandhyam’ (Poor digestion). Here the
patient will have poor
digestive power, aversion
towards food etc.
When the digestive power
become
feeble the kapha dosha or the unctuous
properties in the body will be
aggravated hence it
leads to the conditions like loss of appetite,
feverish
feeling, tiredness and body pain.
In the vitiated kapha dosha stage it will
create an
increased mucous coating in the digestive system
as well as in the
respiratory system.
The aggravated intestinal
mucosa will interrupt
the proper digestion and absorption of the food
materials.
There will be lacking
of necessary vitamins,
minerals etc.
It will lead to Poor
Immunity.
And also represents signs
like wt. Loss, loose
bowels too.
When the aggravated ‘Kapha
dosha’
(unctuousness) affecting the respiratory system,
the increased mucosa
lining covers and constricts
the wind pipes which connects the nostrils to
lungs.
]
So the adequate supply of
oxygen to the system
will be insufficient.
And shows the signs like
Sneezing,
Running nose, cough etc.
When the infection spreads
fever also will be there
as associated symptom.
How to Manage?
