Charecteristics of Kapha (The water and earth element)
In kapha Dosha the dominant elements are the water and earth.
"......snigdha seetho gurur mandha slakshno mrthsna sthira kapha..."
which means, it is unctuous, cold, heavy, slow, sticky and stable in nature.
The above quote from Ashtangahrudayam soothra sthanam by Vagbata Acharya, says the peculiar nature of the 'kapha dosha'.
So the kapha dominant people will show the characteristics of their ruling dominant elements, that is the dominant part of the Panchabootha in their body.
It must be in a equilibrium state in their body. When loose its balance due to the similar properties, the ailments will affect them by the aggravation of the respective 'dosha'.
