The Growth of a baby....

The growth of a Baby begins just after the conception in the mother's womb. During the second half of pregnancy and in the early childhood the growth will be so fast. And also up to the age of two the growth rate will be high. At the time of birth the body weight will be approximately 3 kg. During the first trimester the baby growing 25–30 gm daily. Then up to one year time 400 gm every month. On the 5th month the body weight will be about the double from the body weight at birth time.
The factors affecting the growth of the baby are the Nutrition,Infections and infestations of the parasites,trauma,changes in the weather,hereditary factors etc.
A healthy new born baby will have the following characteristics:
Body weight at time of birth will be 2.8 Kg to 3 kg.
Length of the Baby will be about 50 cm.
Circumference of the head 34-35 cm.
Circumference of the chest 31–32 cm.
During the first 7 days body weight will be reducing up to 10% and in another 10 days time it will regain back.
The New born baby should cry louder it is a normal sign.
If the baby cries in low feeble noise it shows something wrong with the neurological conditions.
A healthy new born baby will sleep about 80% time.
The Normal Respiratory rate of a new born baby will be 35 – 40 per minute.
And normal heart beat will be 120 – 140 per minute.
Healthy new born baby will pass urine in minutes after the delivery. If not happen it shows something wrong.
The first stool will be hard and blackish. In 24 hrs time it has to come normally.
After the birth,in one hour time baby will start suck for milk and will cry for feeding in every 3-4 hours time.
A normal healthy newborn baby will start feeding naturally. 
In the first month itself baby responding to sounds.Second month if we smile bay will will respond same.
Third month,able to recognize the mother,trying to lift the head and hands often.
Fourth month,try to grab and hold articles we gave.
Fifth month,trying to sit with support.
Sixth month,making noises like “ma” “ba” etc..
Seventh month,holding things firmly.
Eighth month,sitting his own.
Ninth month,Trying to stand,making noises.
Tenth month,trying to walk with support.
Eleventh month,moving on the knee.

Twelfth month,can stand without support,trying to imitate others,playing and speak some words etc.
