Curry Leaves - Benefits

Benefits of Curry Leaves

Sanskrit Name: Kalasaakam, Kaidaryam

Malayalam Name: Kariveppila

It promotes Good Appetite and Digestive power.

Also helps to remove the other impurities from the food.

It is very common in south Indian dishes.

The Medicinal Uses:

1. Effective in loose bowels, Improves taste, appetite and digestive power. And also got anti toxicity effects.

2. In Amoebic dysentery cases; make a paste of Curry leaves and fry with eggs have it twice daily – It is very good effective.

3. When there is severe pain with bites and stings; Boil the curry leaves with milk make a paste and apply over the affected area. At the same time drink the water boiled with curry leaves . It will help to reduce the toxic effects.

4. Allergic Rhinitis Nose block etc.
Fresh turmeric and Curry leaves make a paste and take it early morning in empty stomach for 30 days . The dose should be 20 Gms.

5. Curry leaves boiled with garlic, turmeric powder and thin butter milk is good for IBS conditions.
